(817) 887-0121
These guys took over Drive Finincial, Drive Auto and Drive about a year ago!!! They are awful to work with, I thought the original creditor on my loan was awful but oh my.... late charges because they didn't pick up their mail on time... my payments are made directly from a bill pay service and since they don't come in their envelope or through online by debit or ccard... they don't have to open them immediately.I had made payment arrangements with them because I knew I was being laid off so they did a three month grace period for me, after the three months my parents were getting nasty phone calls stating that I was late, and they needed me to pay or they were coming to get the vehicle. I about died... so much for following through on their promises... the funny thing is it was all typed notes in my account, but the employee who made the arrangements no longer worked for the company and they couldn't follow up with his supervisor who had to approve it. but the best part was having them talk to my step father and telling him details... his name isn't even on the loan nor does it sound like my name, plus I am a female!!!Stay far far away from these guys... and trust me the phone calls never stop!!! You can be a day late, or the day your payment is due and they will call you!!!

I currently have a car loan with HSBC Auto/Santander, getting calls from them and now this new number from XO Interactive. I am a little behind on payments, and now the car unfortunately is no longer in service. (Timing belt, ouch!) I am so tired of the many calls each day and with NO Message left. Calls EVEN on Sunday and holiday. I am tempted to let them come get the car, since it is out-of-service. HSBC has been in the news with all the troubled bank crap as being one of the lowest and dirtiest banks. I will never promote, endorse or suggest their services to anyone.
(817) 887-0121
Check this out, I was laid off in August 2009 and after a painstaking 6 month process, HSBC and I had come to a point where they claimed I was only $18.00 past due and they were not worried about it as long as I continued to pay my monthly payment, which I have.As soon as Santander took over, I started receiving calls from them saying I owed $ 105.00 for something that occurred back in late 2008? They can not tell me exactly where and why this money is due, but they say I owe it. They call at least 6 times a day, everyday and even if I pick up and talk to one of there robots, they still continue to call.....
(817) 887-0121
These are the worst people to try to do business with. That is if you actually get to speak to someone you set arrangements with one person and then the calls just keep calling. I just send my payments in and don't answer the calls anymore.
(817) 887-0121
Yup, it's Santander. This is a auto loan company that took over my loan after HSBC auto got tired of all of my late car payments. These guys mysteriously took over, I got the phone calls first, then the letter, then the harassment started within a couple of weeks. Notice, it's the same collection method as HSBC auto. In fact, I think that they setup this company so they could assign the loans so they could get a better pool of customers without looking like they f#$^ed their customers off.If you think about it, how many people would purchase other HSCB products if HSBC took your vehicle back or cancelled your credit card? Get it now??
(817) 887-0121
Yep, I am being harassed about the same time frames...Several times an hour..leaves no messages ..I have had this loan for almost 3 years do they think I'll stop paying and risk reposession after all the money I forked over.. ?? Would rather trade it in for an older car and stop making these payments..
(817) 887-0121
Calls 4x a day and more ..leaves no message but I looked up the number on the net.. i'm only 30 days late on car payment but I have auto pay for every month ..just missed a payment on due date ...no extra cash ....can't catch up as quickly as they want..but have made over 30 payments 0f $ 640 and put $25k down on the car ..still i'm a criminal..sucks to owe money in an electronic world..

To prevent pesky businesses from harassing you with phone calls, send them a "Letter to Cease and Desist". It's a letter addressed to them stating your phone number and that you request that they immediately stop calling your phone number. At the top of your letter you can add "cc: FTC" and/or "cc: (your state) Attorney General" under the business' name and address. Send it by certified mail. You can also report undue harassment to the FTC at 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357). Hope this helps.

Oh - Just looked this up on Google... how do you stop debt collectors from calling and found:Your Rights Under the FDCPA: Recognizing Debt Collection Abusehttp://www.nedap.org/hotline/fdcpa-recognizing.htmlAnd a Sample Cease Letter to send the Debt Collector to stop harassment.http://www.nedap.org/resources/documents/CeaseLetterwithElectronicForm.pdf"Many people waste a lot of time talking to debt collectors on the phone, trying to convince them to stop calling. That approach is unlikely to succeed, because the FDCPA provides that debt collectors don't have to stop contacting you unless you send them a letter."Good Luck.

Santander Consumer USA Inc. took over the auto finance division from HSBC Auto Finance as of March 15, 2010. They are ruthless and relentless calling my phone in 5, 10, 15 minute increments. Seriously - they called 6 mins ago, 16 mins ago, 18 mins ago, 26 mins ago, etc... I had an auto lone with HSBC. I have not been successful in ending the harassing calls… yet... http://www.santanderconsumerusa.com/HSBC/
