RIPOFFREPORT.COM These guys are breaking the law.First Financial Lending Group based in Woodland Hills, CA contacted me about a re-finance I was doing with Countrywide. The representative told me that because Countrywide was going through their 'problems' they had asked First Financial to****ume responsibility for the loan. He had my loan amount and credit score.Without giving any private info, I played along. I contacted Countrywide immediately to confirm and was told that they had not sold my loan or transferred responsibility to First Financial. Further, Countrywide has no relationship with First Financial with regard to my loan.I called First Financial back and asked my loan rep, Mchael Ros****ah, a***n how he obtained my information. He a***n stated that Countrywide had transferred responsibility of my loan to them. When pressed, his response was, 'I'm ***nd new at this. I've only been working here a month. That's what they told me.'I asked him to transfer me to a manager. 'Mike' picked up the phone and admitted that my information had been purchased through a credit agency. When I told him what I had been told by the loan rep, he said, 'You obviously misunderstood him.'Yea, right 'Mike'. I misunderstood alright. If the company is going to lie about how they got my information, do you really think I'd trust you to do a mortgage loan?SoCal Consumervista, California
