Received a phone call 12/17/08 and again on 12/18/08 AT MY WORK regarding a payday loan I took out thru sonicnet in the amount of $1,095 = the loan itself, attorney and court fees? I told him I dont know what he is talking about and I would like to see something in writing and documention. Said I will receive papers at work and/or home. This guy on the phone (John something of another with a foreign accent) told me that I would be arrested for wire fraud. Mentioned that I could come up with a OOCR (out of court restitution) by faxing a letter of apology and the FRONT of my debit/credit with authorization to withdraw the money. What really freaked me out was they had the last 4 digits of social, home, work and personal information..These foreign scumbags need to be stopped immediately. What the hell has happened to our country when these low-lifes can try to dupe people into falling for this while our troops are giving their lives for freedom...I am pretty angry!

Called saying that I owed from a payday loan, and he was from the california state attorneys office and I was going to be hauled off and arrested on Monday along with my parents, he asked me to verify information. He had all my information, bank account, address (previous), work information, payroll department. This is scary stuff. He stated his name was Chris Williams and then he was an attorney for cashnet. I did a search for and found simular incidents for sonic cash net, word for word
