Legit number for HSBC Discover, wanted info on a fraud claim on card.

Yes i gotten a call saying they were from hsbc and were calling about one of my credit card from either orchard bank or sears i tried to call them back but number not in service so i called my credit card and gave them the number so beware never give out any information if you get a call **** up and call the number on the back of your card and report it

Keeps calling. I found it was a credit card company. When I called that same number a***n, it was disconnected!

This is a legit HSBC number for Card Services.

They called me to report that someone was trying to charge money on credit card of mine belonging on an Orchard Bank credit card that I owned. So he was professional and nice regarding my account and how to fix this problem.

I got a call from this number and was unable to call back on the phone that I received the call on...I tried another phone it went thru...a man answer and asked who I was then said he was in Texas and did not call me ...did not know who would have called from that number

The owner of this number is the division of HSBC Bank that administers Orchard Bank Mastercard. The call I received from this number was legitimate, as I do have a credit card with them and had recently filed a dispute on an unauthorized charge. I don't know if they also place debt collection calls from that number, but it is not a telemarketing number and it is not DirectTV!

I received a message from 831-755-6699 but I didn't call back using the phone #s given in the message, rather I called HSBC back directly using the 800 phone # on the back of my credit card. It wasn't a scam, someone was fraudulently using my credit card and HSBC was calling to verify the transactions. I was able to close the account before more damage was done.
