Yes i gotten a call saying they were from hsbc and were calling about one of my credit card from either orchard bank or sears i tried to call them back but number not in service so i called my credit card and gave them the number so beware never give out any information if you get a call hang up and call the number on the back of your card and report it

They called me to report that someone was trying to charge money on credit card of mine belonging on an Orchard Bank credit card that I owned. So he was professional and nice regarding my account and how to fix this problem.

The owner of this number is the division of HSBC Bank that administers Orchard Bank Mastercard. The call I received from this number was legitimate, as I do have a credit card with them and had recently filed a dispute on an unauthorized charge. I don't know if they also place debt collection calls from that number, but it is not a telemarketing number and it is not DirectTV!

I received a message from 831-755-6699 but I didn't call back using the phone #s given in the message, rather I called HSBC back directly using the 800 phone # on the back of my credit card. It wasn't a scam, someone was fraudulently using my credit card and HSBC was calling to verify the transactions. I was able to close the account before more damage was done.

Recieved a call from the above number. When I came to this site I see that the location is listed as "Salinas, CA" the home of DIRECTV whom I am actively trying to file a legal suite against for charging me a bogus late cancellation fee. If this is DIRECTV and they were calling me about the suite I am filling please tell them not to bother that the suite will go ahead as planned and I am looking to include it in a class action lawsuite.

Got a call from 831-755-6699 with a hang up. Calling back got a msg. "the number you dialed is not in service". Guess what, this is not a phone company msg. but their msg. - so call them back again and again to tie up their phones. Better still if you have a fax call their 831-755-6698 with your fax machine and send them a little something or perhaps a lot of something. Maybe we little people can fight back this way. Go get them tigers!

Rec'd a call from this number and they are a call center handeling disputes with several credit card companies. I have an disputed charge with HSBC and they had all the info that had been sent to HSBC and also the call back # to reach them, which I confirmed, is the customer # listed on my card. They did not ask for any numbers from me, but when I asked to verify my claim # with HSBC they had the correct # which they gave to me.

I found another website with a bunch of comments about this number presenting themselves as HSBC but then they would call people without accounts, and try to get their SS #'s from them...

got a call from this number 2 times in a day..i didnt pick it up..they didnt leave a message either..searched online later..and called them from other phone..they answered as HSBC..he asked my account number..i asked him why ? he said he will find out once I tell him the number. i didnt give any.it was an overseas accent.
