Got the requisite silence on the line when I answered, making it clear that this was a boiler room call. Person said they were XYZ calling from EBE to verify the business information that they have on file. I told her to F**K their file and hung up.  Have a nice day

I got a call from this number, and when I answered the phone, the line is open, but no one speaks. It is very annoying, as it is my business line, and this type of call wastes my time. The worst thing, is when I call back the number, it rings once, and then sounds like the line is open again. I wish i knew who it is so I could pay them a visit.

I too am receiving numerous calls from this number on my cell phone of course using up my minutes!The area code is from Texas but this same scam came from a Montana area code just a few months ago. It is time to report these people to your state consumer affairs and the Do Not Call centers!!

They called, said they were trying to "verify our Google Maps listing". They tried to transfer me to an "agent" for verification, I just said no thanks and hung up. The caller ID said "Rewards Dept"...LOL Who wouldn't answer that!? Anytime you get a call and there is a delay from the time you answer til the time they speak, it's a telemarketer. They are dialing many #s at once, whoever answers first, that is the one they connect to, but there is a delay. I always know right away.

832-397-6162 keeps calling my business.  Leaves no message.  Hangs up when I pick up the phone.  VERY ANNOYING.

I want to know who they are so I can sue them for breaking the law and harrasing my company

Is this from an eBay seller with the id of     justfordollar  or      program1940  ? I have gotten over 28 calls in 72 hours.....

Got a call from (832)397-6162 today.  They claimed to be the order confirmation of a company called AlpineWhite.  Said I had ordered product from them using a credit card.  They had my address info and everything.  I claimed to not know what they were talking about.  They gave me a call back number, Customer Service number, (800) 738-1940, to address my concerns.  I called customer service but the connection goes to a voicemail box that is full.  WTF?

Get these calls daily. No one there. Put the phone down for 10 minutes and still nothing, not even a disconnect. Really tired of the annoyance. No results when attempting to call them back. Rings and drops call. We have no debt, so have no idea why they are calling.

They called claiming to be EBE Business Listings who are  publishing Google Maps for the area then asked to confirm business listing. Then try to transfer the call but I hung up when the music came on.

First time I've seen this caller ID.  Answering machine picked it up....no message

They refer to Texas Google Maps.

Call once an hour, don't leave a message.  Call number back and it just rings then disconnects.

This is a new number that appeared in my missed calls today.  I've been getting these unwanted calls, from several numbers, on my cell for months.  If I don't recognize the number I don't answer and just delete them later.  After a while they stop...only to be replaced by another annoying jerk calling.  When will this end?

they keep calling me and somehow got my name ....I told them they had the wrong number so hopefully they give it up. they are very persistent and just hung up the phone the first few times they called.
