I have received the same call today. I'm not sure if it's a scam or not either. I did put money down for the $25.00 deposit. Was this a scam?

They called and said I won a 4 night cruise from a sweepstakes entry. I dont remember entering in a sweepstakes, but I could have and not remember. The lady I spoke with said I would have to pay a 25.00 refundabl deposit to hold my cruise tickets and that I would have 3 months to take a 90 minute tour of their hotel. For me that would be Charleston or Myrtle Beach. I would schedule the tour 7 days before I plan to go, then i would get my refund and cruise tickets after I took the tour. I would then have 12 months to take the cruise and all I have to pay is port taxes, everything is included in the cruise, food, entertainment etc. If I won something great, but I don't pay for something over the phone I dont know if its legit. I would hate to get caught in a scam, this may not be one, but I didn't take the chance. Just be weary of who you give your personal info to.
