They called and a message was left when I checked it all you can hear is a radio in the background with someone talking while they were driving in their car. STOP CALLING!

They called and my husband answered and some girl asked for his account number he asked why she said we were late on payment but I know we are not but he said hang on let me ask my wife if when she paid it and she hung up on him.

I really don't know who it is, I actually called the number back and they said its out of service. Not sure what else to do at this point

I proceeded to call the number back and it said "Thank you for calling us back, this is Chase Card Services please enter your 16 digit card number" So hearing that I proceeded to call the number on the back of my Chase credit card then was transferred to the Fraud department. They looked up my account and said that they did not try and call me, and to not give out my personal information to this number. They said they would notate the account and took the phone number to follow up. THIS NUMBER IS FRAUD. DO NOT GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION. REPORT IT TO THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!

Someone from this number keeps calling my cell phone and doesn't leave any message. It is very annoying!

I do have a chase card, I sent out the payment last month 2 weeks later there calling me for another  payment, saying it is due on the 2, well anyway I received the newpayment due on the 7 , I told them it wasnt even close to the due date and stop calling but they still persist , they dont leave a message . Cant really understand them when they call.Still calling 5 times a day.

I don't know them. Caller ID states name as None Available. Called 30 times in three days.

They call my cell 10-15 times 7 days a week. Claim to be Chase Bank and want your account info. Chase Bank says they are not legit and not to reveal info. Asked to stop the calls but keep coming!!!

The same as many of the posts below... many hang ups, no messages, calls at all times of the day and night. Thankfully they stop by 11:00 pm and do not resume until about 5:00 am, so I can get at least a FEW hours of sleep!

I have no Idea who this caller is. They call and do not leave a message. I live in CA so they start at 5 a.m. I leave my phone on for emergency, I don't need a 5 a.m. WAKE UP CALL!!!!

I just posted a mintute ago. I called the real chase. I gave them that number.. THey put me on hold, dialed it and came back and told me it is real.I am current and told them to stop calling me and take me off their list.SO hopefully it stops

They're at it again.  I just got a call on my cell from 1-847-488-3003 looking for someone else with the same last name as me.  I get these about once every couple years.  I think they must have me mixed up with someone with the same last name and an ss# that is a couple digits off my own.  I told her there wasn't anyone here by that name and she read me off my phone number to confirm that was the number she was calling.  I told her it was my number, how long I'd had it, and what my name was.  I also told her to please remove me from her "list".  I did block list the number again!  She never even told me who was calling before I hung up.  Before I let her go I should have told her I was the Assistant Attorney General for my state and listened for how far her foot was going down her throat.

Called my cell & my office. I'm a little concerned that they have both numbers. Strange!!

We called back to see who it was and it says "Chase Card Service - Please give us your credit card number" They have to be kidding - right? We have blocked the numbers they have used so far. Will be reporting them to the FTC and the IL Attorney General office.

847 is an area code in the US.  Its located in Northern Illinois.  I dont know if its a scam, but The area code is legit.

Left a message....chase card services....however, I don't have any accounts. They were calling for my husband on MY cell phone.

I have received 9 calls from this so called Chase number.  When I called back, it says, thank you for calling Chase card services, please enter your 16 digit number.  The card number on the back of my Chase card is not a 847 number (I live in the Chicago area, 847 is a local area code).  I just find it odd and will be walking into a local branch.

For three days, they've called about 8x per day.  No message.  My credit accts are up to date.  I don't know anyone in Illinois (or any business in Illinois).  How do these people get our numbers, and if it's a SCAM, why don't they just move on to the next sucker?  24 calls to me (so far) seems like a lot of trouble to go to to possibly get personal information.  What is the LONGEST or MOST number of calls for you guys?

Don't know if this is Chase or not, but I do have two Chase accounts (biz and pers), both UP TO DATE.  (I pay my Chase accts online.)  For three days I've been receiving about 8 calls per day. They never leave a message.  I do not answer because I don't recognize the number.    Does anybody know how our cell phone numbers are obtained (if we don't give them out)?  If this is a SCAM, why don't they just give up and move on to their next target?

Interestingly enough, three hours earlier, I received a phone call from 866-749-7275, with the same woman from India asking for Jackie. This number belongs to GC Services, LP., which is a debt collection agency from Elgin, Illinois. Spoofing mystery solved!

Caller called asking to speak to someone who had my first name, but a different surname. I told her I do not know the person. She asked if the number she called was the right number, I told her it is my cell phone which I have had for several years but I do not know anyone with the last name she was asking about. She insisted I put him on the phone. I informed her I do not know the person. She was not courteous at all. I think this is some kind of scam.

I got this call at 829 this AM on my cell phone. Didn't pick up and then found this site. Not cool. I'm going to continue research and report.

I got this call before 8am today.  My caller ID said "Chase USA".  I have never seen a number that began 847.  Is this even a number from the continental United States?  If I don't know it, then I don't answer it.

This is a work number they are calling me, harrazing my employer and myself. They must be stop as once.

I read how this number might be a scam so I returned the phone call left on my message (@ 800-217-5964)and turned the tables on them.  I played a foreigner with heavy accent and limited English and totally frustrated the guy.  Tried to get my SS# to look up the account - said I don't have one.  He tells me that I was living in this country illegally and was getting a bit upset and hostile ... it was hilarious.  He finally hung up on me!  LOL!

Been getting 4 calls a day.  I called and they said it was Chase, I told them I wanted to speak with a manager.  Some guy came on and asked for my account number and/or my full social security.  I told him I was 2 seconds away from calling the FBI and he then asked for my phone number.  He asked if I was Grag Pearson and I said no and he said sorry and within 24 hours my number would be removed.

I've been getting calls from this number lately. Looking around I found that its Chase Card Services.

Its not chase credit its a SCAM they are just trying to get your personal info.  If you get a call like this call chase yourself and let them know
