Left partial message saying to press five now, Caller ID just shows Caution. I****ume from comments this is an attempt to switch electricity supplier, I am not interested.

I thought it was strange with the "Caution" caller ID so I didn't answer any of their numerous calls to me. Then I got tired of the phone constantly ringing from this caller so I searched and found a blog comment for a similar phone number with just the last 3 digits different. It talked about a do not call request service at 866-246-7196 so I called it to check it out for myself and it did stop the phone calls. Just give them the caller's phone number to verify it's on their list and the receiving phone number to add to the do not call list.

As with Otis, I also received a land line call. This was on Wednesday, the23rd, mid-day. The did leave a message, though, claiming that due to new government regulations, I was due a break on my electric bill from Com Ed. And to find out what kind of break, all I needed to due was punch 5! Yeah, right. If this was legit, Com Ed would have contacted me thru the mail or on a phone number that I recognize as belonging to Com Ed, and not have "Caution" preceding it. I just know that were I to have punched 5, I would have had a bogus attempt to glean important numbers from me. This kind of stuff should be illegal.

Received a call from this number on my landline; caller ID displayed "caution". No message left. I used my Digitone box to block further calls from ringing through. Checked back later, and saw the same number tried calling 3-4 more times within maybe an hour and half. Number comes out of Roselle IL owned by a Broadwing Communications LLC. Have no other information.
