Stupid people! I deliberately kept them on the line to waste their time (I had a lazy afternoon) and kept working with them, giving them bad info just for fun. Then I told them to cancel the order; they couldn't without me sending them $200 gift card!

Email said I ordered a 77” TV from Amazon, if I didn’t make purchase to call the number in the e-mail saying it was the “Fraud Dept”. Called number and could not understand a word the woman was saying so I hung up!! Thank God!!

Like others I have read here, email saying I ordered 77 inch tv and x Box. Laughing at things as the email didn't even get my name right...called me Casa...lol. needless to say reported to Amazon and blocked.

Same here. Got an email confirming an Amazon order for TV and Xbox. I will report this to my ID Shield Protection Plan. Obviously some type of scam...

They want you to call this number if you did't order the item or items it stated they I order and 77" T.V for over $5,000.00 along with X-Box One and the protection plan totaling almost $6,000.00 so H_LL NO I DID'T ORDER IT!! P.S still don't feel comfortable after talking to some one.

Got an email from amazon with this number. NONE of the links were Clickable like a Real amazon email. Didn't call but searched the number to see if anyone else had gotten it.

Received an email for 6k for a TV and protection plan. Called the number in email. Could tell right away it was bogus. Hung up before they got info from me.

Got an email from "[email protected]" attached to a gmail account. Order confirmation for $6k tv with a bogus ship to address. A message at the top said "if you did not place this order, call 1-855-789-0305 (fraud protection team)". No order was placed. I called the number and a guy answered, "hello?" Identified himself as "Dan from Amazon" and started requesting info...which he didn't get!

Similar email appearing to be from Amazon for items we did not order. Even the order total was incorrect. Totaled over $5,000. I hung up before speaking with the person who answered this number

Said that I ordered $6,000 worth in items from Amazon and to call if I did not place the order. After the person said that my account was breached and would cancel ther order, he can place a security on my account and asked me to go to the nearest store that sells Ebay cards and purchase a card with a credit or debit Visa card so they can verify that the person I said who i am is the right person and not someone else, I became suspicious. I hung up and called Amazon to make sure there wasn't any orders or charges against my account that I have use 8n over 8 years.
