"Cancer Society" phone soliciting. I just stated I NEVER give anything over the phone. Do not call me again. Hopefully that does it. You can not verify any donations go to a worthy cause on these sweatshope phone solicitors.

Definitely the Cancer Society
(856) 295-9561
A lady from this number called about donating money to the "cancer" society. I told her I live on SS and don't have extra money for ANYTHING. She continued about how hard times were and I hung up on her. Do they really think people can grab money out of the air? Most of these organizations first pay the CEO, etc. millions of dollars and very little goes to the people who need it, if it were really for the cancer society.

Received call this morning, Feb. 16th. Call ID said Cancer Fund. I told the lady that due to numerous calls from various fund raisers, we no longer take calls. She didn't get, until I told her, "You don't get what I just told you, have a nice day!", and then hung up. Other calls I get are from company's that offer to cut my credit card rate, just hit the #1 button for a rep, so I hit the #1 button, put the telephone handle down and wait for the permanent signal. I love taking their time since I don't have any credit card debt. The third one is the outfits that want to supply the electricity and save me ten percent, I just put the phone down on them and wait for the permanent signal. I miss those calls now, used to get two or three a week and now I haven't had any from them in over month. I think they got my message!
