Same thing as Paul wrote below. Grindr scam. 200$ gift card. However, this was my roommate, the scammer had screenshots of my roommates facebook. Scary af! roommate deleted everything.

Received threatening messages, blackmailing me with all my photos from Grindr saying he’ll send them to my boss if I don’t comply with a $500 Walgreens card.

Pretends via Grindr to live in your neighborhood and wanting to get to know you. As soon as you message him your number, he will bombard your phone with threatening text messages trying to blackmail you under false pretenses stating that he will send destructive information to everyone you know via social media / text messages if you don’t send him a $200 electronic gift card right away.
