Yes, I received a text alert saying on my cell number that said "Please contact SimsburyBank at 860.791.6887. I never use text messaging. I thought maybe the contact was for a possible job opportunity. Went to the bank's website to see what positions are available as there is a Simsbury Bank in area. Why would a Bank contact a potential candidate in this manner. Contact is made by email or telephone. Checked out their website positions and also for their policies. The Bank states they do not ask for personal info via text messaging. On the news they stated text message is a scam.
