Door-to-door scam. Checking mailbox for last name of homeowner. Door ****ing generic looking debt collection notification. Printing date and last name of homeowner and circling one-of-three pre-printed prefixes (Mr., Mrs., Ms.). Plain colored piece of paper. No company identifiers or logos on it. Notice states: This is in connection with an attempt to collect a debt. Any information obtained will be used for that purpose. It is important we talk with you. Please call: 866-278-2008 (hand printed in). Note: if this matter is resolved with one of our staff within the last 10 days or definite arrangements were made prior to that date, kindly disregard this request. Thank you. IMPORTANT CONFIDENTIAL NOTICE. The notification has fold and seal dashed lines on it but is left open on door of homeowner. THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT FALL FOR IT. Your creditors know who you are and how to contact you. They don't door **** your door to collect a debit.
