I received a voicemail from a private number from a guy named John Smith (seriously) He said he was a letter courier trying to reach me and used my maiden name ( I've been married for over a decade) and that he has made several attempts to reach me? Um no no he hasn't and then in a indirect threat said he's going to be at my home and work between 3 and 5pm tomorrow and I better plan accordingly, really ?? Umm no no I won't. Then leaves this 866 399 5041 if I want to inquire about what this is about, (well no I'm not.) He also eluded that he would call the people who gave him this job to serve the paperwork they can proceed without me if I don't make myself available at those times... To do what? Have a party? Early dinner? If he was having trouble contacting me to make a delivery then why not leave his contact info? How can he be 2 places at the same time to serve the paperwork? And between 3pm and 5pm Im not home but my husband is and he can chat with him lol. If it quacks like a duck and looks like a duck it's a duck...this is a fraud scam probably wanting to scare someone out of serious money. I was on another site trying to find info on this **** and a anonymous guy reported the same kind of message left on his voice mail today during the same time frame I received my voice mail. That to me solidified the fact this is a load of bs and not to call the number he left period. Very creative but I not the one,not today or tomorrow. Move on scammers!
