Was called by a "supposed" process server and given info that an attempt had been made to serve me with legal do***ents (while I was ACTUALLY HOME!) and was provided with the name and number of a law firm and was given a case #. After calling the number, I was told that I was being sued for over $13k (for a debt for an account that I never had) and that I needed to show up in court to defend myself. Unfortunately, I neglected to get the name and jurisdiction of the court and when I contacted my attorney was told that the "case number" WASN'T from my local court system. Upon receiving this info, I tried calling the number back only to find that my number had, in fact, now been BLOCKED! I suspect that this was a phishing attempt and luckily had NOT confirmed my true address. Hopefully, I will never hear from them a***n...****HOLES !!!

Claims some sort of legal action against me and mail is being returned from address. Didn’t mention the matter, the so called name lawyer or law firm they want me to call. The guy was almost whispering. Creepy.

I just received a call from this number, and the man talked so fast I couldn't understand the name of the survey I supposedly filled out in the last five months, but when I asked again what it was he told me I may have been entered into it by a Walmart receipt. Which also sounded strange to me as he said, along with magazines, I won a gift certificate to Target. He also kept yelling congratulations randomly. So I told him alright, got the company name, number and his name then started searching while still on the phone, then he asked for my card number and when I told him I was not comfortable doing that he said this whole thing about fraud and that it was completely safe to give him my number... still not convinced, he then offered to call back tomorrow which I doubt he will after reading these other comments, and if he does I just wont answer. But I think I will report them and speak with my Pre-Paid Legal adviser anyway.
