Scam. We do have loan with PennyMac but do not have issues being behind on payments.

They contact me daily. I never answer. They leave the same voicemail telling me that they are calling to discuss the status of my account. Then they leave me contact information to reach a representative. They never leave a name of company they are calling from, say what type of account they are calling in reference too, or reference my name. My guess is it is a scam.

I work for PennyMac. FYI, this is NOT one of our numbers. This is a company purporting to be PennyMac, as well as other mortgage companies. In fact, they called one of our customers and said they were past due and needed to make arrangements for a payment - and this person was paid ahead 2 months! SCAM, completely.
