SCAM...SCAM... I re eived call from this mu.ber claiming they were Spectrum, a cable company. Told I was eligible for 50% discount on current service. I spoke to William who confirmed my phone number then went into details about the monthly cost. Derived that I would receive discount but to initiate application I had to pay 5 month in advance at the reduced rate. He continues with barley understandable info, then state I have to use my Target Credit Card or purchase Target gift cards the amount disclosed. With Target gift cards in hand was to call 800 894 0769 and provide the card information the using an authorization code. I told William that this sounded like a scam and he states how could it be? I called Spectrum just now to report this incident. And now I am passing this I fo to you here, be careful. There are many thieves in this world. Bye and good luck.
