Call also on weekends never leaves a message, if they were legit they would, blocking number
Scam account. I have answered the call and no one ever picks up on the other end of the call. Almost as if they are testing phone numbers.
This is the second time I got a call from this 877 number. This time I answered. The lady’s name was De*** and she said she was investigating possible fraud on my Truist account. One was a zero amount… that’s what a fraudster would do to see if it was a real account. She may have been actually workingnon a fraud but you should NEVER give info when someone is calling you, then **** up. I did call my bank security dept… and the Truist Service lady was able to confirm that Truisy had shut down my account for suspected fraud attempt. Truist really is diligent about stopping fraud. Anyway, I discovered this trying to pay for my groceries at a Kroger. My card had to be cancelled. I have some cash with me so I have to redo my order for now. BE CAREFUL!
This is att promotional services looking to sign people up for att wireless and or internet services. I called them back and found out this information.
This phone number was on a fraud alert letter from "Chase" about my credit card. The letter looks authentic. They're getting very good at making these things look legit.
Calls no one responds when you answer, I have multiple times answered differently. Still no answer no response so blocking the number.

Shows as AT&T but it’s spam to see if your number is valid and then you go on another list
FAKE Midland Credit bill collector acting as an actual phantom debt collector and will scam you and its by an India group called madarchod criminals who always are phoning from India. This is what the Federal Trade Commission calls a phantom debt collection scam where the scammer pretends to be a well known debt collector and gets you to give identifiable information in order to do more harm to you and seeks bank information to make fake payments to them. The find debts you owe or are still unpaid somehow or from your released credit file on the black market and act as they bought debts from your creditors and now you owe them. They access you bank account and will drain it. In my case it was an old Capital One Debt I already paid to Midland Credit and its now fully taken care of and off my reports as never existed and Capital One just deleted it as an old record which said "Sold to Third Party".
I think this may be a scam
Reported.
