Definitely Fingerhut. Always disconnect when you answer. Calls all day everyday including Sundays and Holidays. Bill is current, they call day after payment to remind you your next payment is due in 30 days.

It is Fingerhut Credit about past due accounts. I purchased a new cell phone on 4-11-2011 and had 2 calls from them the next day. I threated if they didn't get this phone number out of their system within 24 hours I would press charges against them because this phone was just activated the day before. Go to your STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL if they are calling you for someone else and have them file charges against the company. Once you tell the company to quit calling your number you have a legal right to press charges against the company. Make sure you get the name of the agents, times of the call and some of those dumb telemarkers will give you the name of the person that has the bad credit. If they hang up on you, call them back, give them the phone number and tell them you want your phone number removed and warn them that the next call from them you will take legal action against them.

This number used to call my cell phone roughly 4 - 5 times a day and i always ignored it. After this happening for about a month i finally got fed up with it and answered with the intention of telling them to stop calling me. I never was able to get out what i wanted to say because the call disconnected within seconds of answering. Now i am getting calls from the roughly every hour !

called them back. got the same "provide the last 4 numbers of the SSN'. I replied "blah blah blah blah" and the system forwarded me to a representative. they have no record of my phone number(s) in the system and then said they'd forward me to someone to remove the numbers from the system. [didn't they just say the numbers weren't in their system??]At that point, I was disconnected from their system. One of the numbers they called was a business line. I will be watching my phone records.

I'm glad to find that I'm not the only person receiving mysterious calls from this number. It started the other day, twice a day. I couldn't answer and there was no message, so at first I ignored it. By the third call I thought I would call back & see who it was. Fingerhut?! Google search reveals some kind of discount sales website that I have NEVER purchased from. When I called, an automated system asked for the last 4 digits of social security number, phone number, and 10 digit customer number. I did not give this info--no retail company would ever ask for social security number. Seems like a scam to me...

Beginning on December 3, 2010, 877-503-6145 has begun calling my cell and does so every four hours or so. the caller does not leave a message. I do not intend to answer.
