Caller: the gap Call Type: Debt Collector 888-248-3182 call me 3,4,5,6, sometimes 7 times a day. I called them a month ago to tell them i'm not the person they are looking for. the woman said it would take a few hours to be removed from the call list. that was a month ago!! and they are still calling me multiple times a day. i am on the phone with them right now talking to someone by the name of Adam Williams who also said he has removed me from the system. I asked to speak to a manager and am now on hold - we'll see how long they keep me on hold...its already been 9 minutes. UPDATE: After asking to speak with a manager, they put me on hold with them for over a half and hour. When Adam Williams came back on the line I told him I was not going to get off the line until I received an email from them stating in no uncertain terms that my cell phone number was removed from their system. Then he put on hold A***N. When he came back he offered me a mailing address that I could write to complain. I AM LIVID. I don't want a stinking mailing address. If they have the technology to call me 5 times a day, surely they can provide me with written proof that they've removed me from the system. It's now been 37 minutes! UPDATE: AFTER 4O MINUTES, I was finally able to talk to a manager. His name is RONNIE WILSON. If you receive these harassing calls, CALL 888-248-3182 and press the STAR KEY until you get to an operator. Then ASK FOR RONNIE WILSON. We'll see if it actually works this time. In the meantime, DONT SHOP AT THE GAP OR ANY OF THEIR AFFILIATES!!!! THIS IS HARASSMENT! UPDATE: Five minutes after i got off the phone with them (after I was PROMISED my NUMBER WAS REMOVED) - THEY CALLED A***N!!! So I ANSWERED and asked to talk to RONNIE WILSON. Guess What? HE DOESN'T EXIST. So this time I got to talk to KEN PETERSON. SURE, that's his name. After demanding so****ing in writing verifying that my private cell phone number has been removed from their system he too gave me a mailing address where I could file a complaint. THIS IS B.S. THIS IS HARASSMENT. THEY SHOULD BE ARRESTED.
