When I had Earthlink Service problems, they never called nor did they return my calls, I spent ***dreds of hours trying to finally get away from them by PORTING OUT my VOIP TRUE VOICE number to other provider. Law say it should take only 1 day - it took them nearly a month. Now, when I finally closed my account, some "Customer Service" from Philippines keeps calling my cell phone and leaves messages asking IF MY PROBLEM WAS SOLVED!! I will not answer in person as it would use too many minutes on my cell phone. These people got no idea what they are doing other than trying to keep you from quitting Earthlink AKA the worst Internet and Home Phone provider!!!! please, stay away from Earthlin****

This is absolutely Earthlink. They called to let me know that my credit card ending #### used to pay my web domain services had expired (which it had). IT IS GENUINE. This number is not a scam. I asked them to call me back in 20 minutes which they did. While I waited for them to call back I logged into my earthlink account and updated the credit card information. When they called back in 20 minutes they already knew I had updated my account and all they asked was if it was OK to process the payment at this time. I said OK. They were very very nice. At no time did they ask for a credit card number since the one I already had on file just needed the expiration date updated. By the way, if you think you do not have an Earthlink account just ask them what the services are that you are being billed for. I waited just a few seconds and she was able to pull up on her computer the exact service (I have two earthlink accounts - domain and emails). Your internet provider may have been bought out by Earthlink which is exactly how I ended up with them several years ago. They buy out smaller internet providers and when they bought Lights***d.net I ended up with earthlink. I have been very happy with their services.

This number just called me. I don't answer calls like this. My YouMail Voicemail sent me a text stating I had a missed call. The YouMail caller ID showed the caller as "dont care". Can you say scam? Google shows the number as being Earthlink and I've had problems with them in the past calling and harassing me and I didn't even know who they were.

It's Earthlink. I was resear****g internet providers and (sadly) provided my phone number. I had actually gone a few steps into the activation process and never completed because the site just seemed odd. Now I get calls multiple times a day - I even answered one day and the lady was talking in a different language for 5 minutes while I kept saying "HELLO?". Finally ***g up. I get voicemails daily with just background noise. I am on the Do Not Call list, too. I am thinking about c****ing my phone number.

I live in Illinois and have received calls from 1 888-327-8*** several times before. Today 11:30 a.m. April 4, 2009, was called a***n from this number. The phone rang twice - no message left. Get the feeling someone is up to no good - have had my identify stolen about three months ago, so am on guard...

caller claimed to be from earthlink and asked me to verify my name then she wanted me to pay on my account to get it up to date. I have it automatically drafted from my bank account and the account was just paid. being asked for a payment seemed odd to me. when I told her I receive my bill from earthlink via email and I pay it electronically, she thanked me and said yes that was payment for march, you need to pay april and then you will be up to date. earthlink does not bill a month ahead. I told her I didn't owe any money and she kept trying to tell me I had to pay april. I told her no, that's not the normal procedure she said thank you and ***g up. most likely this is a scam trying to get your bank/cc info.

I stopped having Earthlink service years ago, but they call repeatedly (that is, if this caller really is Earthlink). I screen the calls but they don't speak or leave a message.

This call came in this afternoon probably to survey the****istance I got this morning to look up my key for my wireless. I just picked up and ***g up. I am now laughing to learn it was Earthlink, because at that time today I had no connectivity for the umpteenth time for no reason. I dread calling because Tech Suport and Customer Service are in India. I just recollect all the monkey around that they have had me do in the past before I have to call them. Luckily a cycle reboot did the trick and I didn't have to call them! I almost wish I had picked up to tell them how much they ****. I have had them for many years because I hate c****ing email addresses. My recent contract for home networking with them expires next month. Does anyone have support in the US anymore?
(888) 327-8454 - January 11th, 2009 5:00am
EArthlink wants me to update my cc number because the one i originally gave them has expired. I guess the fact that I contacted THEM to pay my bill 2 WEEKS in advance does not stop them from making these calls! I am s****ing to shop around for a new internet provider.
(888) 327-8454 - December 24th, 2008 5:00am
This number has been calling my cell phone multiple times a day for the past 3 days. The first day they called twice, once restricted and the next unavailable. The next day they called from 888-327-8*** and I didn't answer. Right away they called back restricted, and then that night they called unavailable, unavailable, and then 888-327-8***. They do not leave messages. This morning the number 0 showed on my caller ID and directly after I didn't answer that call, the 888 number called. I answered and they ***g up. I called them back because I am fed up with this harassment. I couldn't get a human being to save my life, so I just s****ed pushing ****ons until someone answered. I told them this number has called my phone a total of 9 times in the past couple days and I wanna know who the***** they are and what the***** they want! The guy said it was Earthlink. I have NO IDEA who Earthlink is!! He transferred me to "Customer Service" and some lady picked up. Of course they're outsourced in God knows where, so they're extremely hard to understand. I told her I don't know who they are or what they want and she asked if I have an account! I was like, NO!! So then she "looked up my information" and concluded there was no information for me on there (I didn't give her any of my info...not even my name...I don't even think she had my phone number, unless she had a caller ID). She told me the next time they call to tell them that I spoke with a customer service rep and it was taken care of. I told her I would, but they **** up when I answer! She a***n told me to tell them that. I asked to be put on a do-not-call list and she said she COULDN'T do that for me and to just tell them it's been taken care of. I told her if I continue to receive phone calls from them that I will be filing a complaint with the FTC and she a***n told me to tell them that it's been taken care of if they call. I was so mad by this time I just said yeah, ok and ***g up! AHHH!!!

I have been getting this call a few times a week for the last month. when I answer there is no one there and when I don't answer a blank message is left to my voice mail.

This is a CUstomer Service Number for Earthlink, the Internet Provider.
(888) 327-8454 - November 3rd, 2008 5:00am
yes, this is earthlink ...they are the worst ever....I still have them..but, waiting for the contract to expire...if you have the ability to block this number...do so...give them a taste of their own medicine..they have sold my number to countless telemarketers....and come to find out recently, that my phone number was not 911 enabled.....it took calling India 5 times to get this corrected...I have them blocked but can still see when they call viewing my account. GET RID OF THEM.
(888) 327-8454 - November 1st, 2008 4:00am
received a call today with name "not provided".found on this site it was earthlink (maybe?). I have been trying to cancel their service but they do not cancel and keep billing me. i don't answer calls that don't tell me who is calling. if it is legitimate they can provide a name or at least leave a message, which they didn't.
(888) 327-8454 - September 16th, 2008 4:00am

They have been calling me to my new verizon cell number, I don't know if verizon gave out my number or they gave me a recycled number and someone with that number had Earthlink, but I never answer the phone, I'm going to contact verizon and see what they can do about it.
(888) 327-8454 - August 9th, 2008 4:00am
This is the outsourcing of Earthlink to India. They are trying to get me to give them my Credit Card over the phone.I told them I would update My account over the net. The guy proceeds to just be as rude as he could be. Telling me my secure information over the phone. Earthlink wiil just implode with this kind of nonsense.
(888) 327-8454 - August 7th, 2008 4:00am

I have been getting missed calls from this number for a few weeks. They never leave a message, but they keep calling. Who is this?
(888) 327-8454 - May 14th, 2008 4:00am
I received two calls within six hours and both times a message was left stating they were from earthlink and it was time to pay the bill. I don't have an earthlink account and never have. Our internet account (verizon) is in my husbands name and I received the call on my cell phone.
