I just got a call from sprint saying my bill was past due. They called from 512-686-4806 and they left a phone number to call 1-888-335-6963. They could not answer any questions and/or help. In fact, when I asked to speak to a supervisor- I was ***g up on.

I got two calls from this number and they asked to confirm my name and said that this was Sprint Financial Services and they will hold until you pay the bill and when I confirmed my zip code the balance was $2M and some c****e!Listen carefully! I believe this is a bogus scam that people use to get even with other people and someone. There are site like this out there.

I just got a call from this number. I would believe that it's sprint becuase my bill is late. But if it's Sally Mae that's nuts because my loans are paid off.

just for everyone's info...i work for a debt collection company and want to let you all know that it is a direct violation of FDCPA for you to get automated calls on your cell phone to collect a debt. they are supposed to get your express permission to use automated dialing on your cell phone.

Similar to several of the other contibutors. Received an automated call on our home phone requesting to speak to James **** regarding wireless account number ending in (no numbers given). They had the right name, but the fact that they did not provide the last four digits of the cellular account seemed fishy. For security purposes, the message said to key-in the zip code****ociated with the account. Still su****ious, I keyed-in a bogus zip. The zip was not recognized and I was given the option to select '1' to place the call on hold so that I could look up the correct zip code. No options were provided to talk to someone live, so I ***g up. After checking the number on this site, I went to the Sprint website to check on my account. Turns out, I do have a past due balance. When I called Sprint to follow-up, and explained the call that I received, the support person said that someone else had received a similar call and that Sprint would not place a call to our landline, but would call our cell phone directly (which is what I believed all along). Because of the detail that the call had, it almost appears that someone has hacked into the Sprint account files (or perhaps their data on their website) and is making 'collection calls' with the intent to obtain credit card info. If so, this is a very slick scam. If it really is Sprint (which I doubt), they are making a very large customer service blunder.Best advice, **** up and call Sprint or check your account online.

(888) 335-6963
i receive calls from this number as well, i also have the sprint service, but they leave me a message. it's not sprint asking for a payment, or my account. It is sally may calling calling me from this number 888-335-6963.

I have sprint service, and actually am late on my account. However, I never answer calls from 800 numbers unless I know them. When I called back this number, they asked for the billing zipcode for the account ending in 1619. This is a scam. I pressed 0 repeatedly, and there were no other options to talk to a representative. They also referred me to a number 1-888-211-9939 if I needed time to "confirm my zipcode". Do not give them your info. You may be late on your bill, and maybe this company can find out that you are to make you pay a balance to them. Ask for proof that they are from sprint, then call sprint with any address/info they give to you. I bet they wouldn't be able to confirm that info. I called sprint and they do not have this number as one of their collections numbers. They are going to look into this matter...

I don't even have Sprint as my carrier. I keep getting these calls on my landline. They are asking for someone who doesn't even live here. 7 calls in 9 days, called Sprint they said they have no record of my number in there system at all. I asked to speak with financial and they supervisor said it wasn't neccessary he would take care of it. We will see. Next call is to the FCC.
(888) 335-6963
This is definitely Sprint Financial Services calling. And, my payment will be late in two-days, however they only give you one option and that is to pay you bill NOW, so if you want to request an extension for payment then you need to look up the Sprint number on their website to call, so you can speak to a human being. I'm so sick of all this automated stuff, no wonder so many people are out of work, they have ANNOYING ma****es taking their place. Where I work I answer the phone directly, none of this Press 1, press 2, etc.. Gog Bless America!

I received a call from this number on my business cell phone this morning and thought that it was a possible scam because it did not ask for my account information, just for me to pay them with a credit card.My bookkeeper and I called the Sprint phone number on our monthly statement to confirm that this is legitimate because we have 16 phones and no one else received the message on their cell. Sprint verified that this is a legitimate phone number: Sprint sends an automatic call when your account is sent to collections for a past-due payment. We have a disputed charge of insurance claims (whole other story!) and the account rep that we spoke to said that disputed charges take up to 90 days to resolve... in the meantime we did not pay the $300 charge so they sent us to Collections for the entire amount of our current bill PLUS $300.We thought it was a scam because our bill is not due until the 27th of this month, but it is LEGITIMATE. If you receive a call from this number, call Sprint and figure out if you have missed a bill. I agree that it sounds shady and that Sprint should really do LIVE person calls rather than recordings but this is a legitimate phone call.

Automated voice asked to speak to Mr. David Tobias about the Sprint wireless account ending in ... (Nothing is said after this.) The only options are:• If you are David Tobias, please press 1.• If you can get David Tobias to the phone, please press 2.• If you know David Tobias and can take a message, please press 3.I never keyed in any number. After not detecting a number, the above options were read a***n. After nothing from me a***n, the voice asked Mr. David Tobias to call the number back within 15 minutes. No way am I calling to even let them know he doesn't live here.

keep getting calls from this number at my job, everyday foreign people stating that this company is financial grim , or financial crime prevention. This company when I called refused to give me there REAL ADDRESS IT WAS A BOGUS ADDRESS THAT THE BETTER BUISNEDD BUEARU COULDN'T FIND. There number is not found by reverse search. The Indina guy on the other end just kept stating that I need to settle a debt that I had for &420.00 from 3 yrs ago. He kept asking if I wanted to settle the debt, I refused to do this without a return address and verification of who they are. This company is extremely insulting when calling my job and extremely embarrassing. They say tell her she committed a white collar crinme and she is facing hard time and it gets worse. When speaking to them they evade telling you who they really are by verification, they just keep tying to settle a debt and threatning you, (WHO ARE THEY REALLY I STILL DON'T KNOW)

Got this call this morning at about 10am. Didn't answer, no message left. If its sprint calling about a late bill then I dont see why, my bill isnt due for 2 more days. Not the first time theyve harassed me about a non-late bill though.
(888) 335-6963
Definitely sprint. No message left. On call back, they lookup account information.
(888) 335-6963
