Pretending to be process server

Man called my number & my wife’s number. Said that do***ents would be delivered to my address in the next couple of hours for me to sign. He had my birth date and asked for me to confirm my phone number and social security number. I said no, he needs to tell me his name and what company or government agency he is with. Said he was Jeff, and that if I did not comply that they would serve me with papers if I did not attempt to resolve the issue. Then he said, we are done here and ***g up the phone. (He spoke with a very authoritative / officer like voice.). Also the time of the calls were just before 8:00 a.m..

Person said they were a law office. Would not provide a name of the law office, just that it regarded a civil case. Complete lie.

I got a call from this number, saying i owe on a personal loan, but wouldn't tell me who the debt was from or give any info. So I called Equifax, Trans Union and Experian. NOTE* to all even personal loans go into any of these 3.

Said I took out a loan 10 years ago around 2014-2017 that had defaulted. Said they would take me to court if I didn’t pay $4100.00. The issue with that is I only had 1 loan…a car loan for way more than that. I paid that loan July 2020. They threaten me that I would be receiving do***ents, haven’t seen them yet. I clearly don’t know what they’re talking about.

I should also mention they said they would not release the last 5 of my social security number until I verified my birthdate. After getting angry they repeated it back to me and "***g up" but didn't. I stayed on for an extra minute after they did not "**** up".

Called, refused to identify themselves. They wanted my birthday. Kept threatening... This is the least of the information you should be worried about. Told them I wanted to identify them so I know if they are legitimate. Got very angry.

Has name and old address and complaint number. No identifying outside of that

They said there was a complaint filed on her, I was the 2 person in line to call in an emergency. I said well what is this about. Oh well we can't discuss it with you, I said well I have POA oh well we would have to see that. I said no problem there. Fax number? He continues with, do you know where she is, yes I do she is on the top of my Oregon, she has been dead for 5 yrs now! So what's so incriminating that she did last yr, like the lady said on my vm, left me this message and gave me reason to call you. He ***g up, oh we will notify OC dept of records to obtain a ***** certificate. I can send you one if you like I have it. He ***g up! That's what I thought..

Asks for the last 4 of your SS# I refused so there was nothing they could do or tell me about the info on the file. Total B.S. NEVER give your info out especially since the guy didn't identify his company/law firm. Plus they're rea****g out to people that are****ociated with you which they can pull off sites like this.
