Telemarketing call to reduce credit card rates. I pressed one and told Theresa that she just cost her company $11k for violating the Do-Not-Call Registry. She didn't care and hung up on me. The registry works for legitimate telemarketers but not for these scumbags who just don't care.

I didn't recognize the number on the caller ID, so I let it go to voicemail. The message pertained to getting a lower rate; the recording used a lady's voice and was obviously playing during my outgoing announcement because the beginning was cut off. Why can't the FCC/FTC or whomever track and shut these scammers down?
