Xfinity says do not do payments with reps over the phone. he also ***g up on me & called me a new number (which is not a secure line like the real Xfinity has)

Definitely a Scam! Caller tried to obtain a resident's utility account number by making a payment on the account. He used the same last name as the resident, but was definitely not of the same nationality or otherwise related in any way. The account number was never given out and the payment was successfully processed. (?) The call was from Negaunee - the zip code of the card was Nicholasville, KY. Not sure what kind of scam this is - but it can't be good.
