So you’ll receive a phone call from a local police department and the officer is named “Gordon”. He will tell you that you are involved in a criminal investigation and he’ll put you in contact with a Mr.Lee. This man will try to persuade you to pay him money to look the other way with the investigation. It’s a scam

Told me they were having the law involved and wanted me to send them money and when I called the dispatch to confirm if the officer supposedly involved was a real officer, he never existed and they have no officer Gordon working for them.
