SCAM! I received a call from that number which was Credit Card Services - they said they can lower my interest rate on my credit card to as low as 6%. Here is our conversation: Woman: In order to get the lower rate you must owe at least $3500 and you owe that much right? I: Which credit card company are you calling from? Woman: We're Credit Card Services and represent... (and listed a few companies here including Bank of America, Citi and a few others). I: I don't have a credit card from any of those banks. Woman: You do have a Visa or a MasterCard, right? I: Yes, but I want to know which company you're calling from. She **** up. Clearly it's a total scam. I'm not ******. I know I have no balance on my credit card as I pay it off every month. I also know that she didn't introduce herself, didn't tell me which company she was calling from and was fishing for information from me. Remember not to ever give out any financial/personal information. Hope this helps someone!
