I got a call from 913-378-9448 at about 5:52 pm left on my answering machine. All the man said was, "913-378-9448, please call," very abruptly, very rudely, as if it was a collection agency calling. He didn't ask for me by name, or leave any clue as to why he was calling or who he was calling for. I want to thank you all who have posted info about this call. It was a HUGE relief to know just WHO was calling me!! I have no caller ID service, so I want to thank you for the information. I must say that the way I was contacted by this organization does not cause me to WANT to contribute anything to their charity!! I'm relieved to have this info. Thanks again. This incident occurred on 10-21-2009.

I have received calls from Big Brothers Big Sisters before (don't still have it on my caller ID anymore) but they always left a message. It seems that this particular BBBS company/number has called our home, yet they have not left a message. I agree that it sounds a little suspicious.
