Fake apartment listing in Hartford CT. Claims to be Morris Walkeri / Morris Walker, a field Engineer at ADM Energy... Can't find anything on him on LinkedIn. Also asks for lots of sensitive info in an apartment application. I sent in a report to TurboTenant to hopefully ban him.

Said he had an apartment to rent and claimed he just moved, did not in fact own the apartment

This person claims to have an apartment in Atlanta and he just moved across the country so he's renting it. Talked me all the way through a lease application and a deposit. Of course I am not getting my deposit back.

Fake apartment at Duke Manor at 311 S LaSalle St in Durham for $1k a month.

Can someone track this****hole down? He tried the same with my daughter for an apartment she had wanted to rent in Atlanta for grad school. We even had a phone call with him and wow... some of his "facts" seemed pretty appropriate (at first) but when asked to provide basics like proof of ownership and a landlady to do a visual (FaceTime) walkthrough or let me send someone to go see the place... you know how the story goes! He kept at it for a bit... via email, phone, AND text. What a POS!

They said to pay the security deposit on the unit without a tour beforehand (claimed he moved across country months ago but just listed the unit on CL) and he would ship the keys and documents via his lawyer. Definitely a scam.
