I've done some research on this scam today and it seems they wait for you to either frustrate them to the point that they **** up or they try to get you to answer "yes" to one of their questions, record it, and use it in another taped message that makes it seem like you're agreeing to some other charge. It's definitely a scam, and don't say "yes" to anything if you can help it. I get these calls at least 3-4 times a week and they get so annoyed with me they eventually **** up.

They call and when I answer they **** up...when I try to call the number back it says it is disconnected.

I believed this to be a scam from the s****.... so****ing about a former employee who authorized a bill which automatically renews: but for them to cancel I have to stay on the line and accept the invoice from guy #2, then guy #1 will get back on the line and cancel it. Of course no transfer back to guy #1 and the phone # on the caller ID doesn't go through. So anyone have a legit phone # where I can make sure this is cancelled?

I have seen some mention of this phone number and scam as far back as March 2011. Unbelievable that it can't seem to be stopped. I have not yet talked with anyone there but the number has called me a few times this month. Every time I pick up it is a dead line.

I got a call from this number today asking for a manager. I told them he was not here, then she told me that she had already spoken to the manager about cancelling a renew for yellowbook listing and wanted me to take down the cancellation number. I was supposed to answer yes or no to the automated system and I would receive a invoice for $500+ to cancel my listing. I s****ed to ask questions because my business has a listing on yellowbook. No matter what I asked, she insisted that she spoke to the owner and wanted to transfer me to the automated system. After arguing with her for a while she ***gup on me. All business owners beware!!

They will ask for the "office manager", if u aren't the office manager they **** UP ON YOU. Say you are the office manager and have reported them to the authorities!! let's put an end to these scammers.

Received a call from 9193010759 on my roll over line the company that this line use to belong to has been out of business 10 years ----the person on the call wanted information from me claiming they were cancellation department from the online real yellow page on wanted me to make pay the balance of a bill. I told him that he was calling the wrong line and that I gave no info over the phone He became very rude when I asked what company he was calling about and he gave me the name of the past business that had this line and I informed him that the company had been closed for over 10years and that the owner was died he ***g up.

Definite scam! Female caller barely spoke English and said she was calling to confirm cancellation of our Yellow Pages Online contract, which we never set up. She then proceeded to say we would be billed for the last 2 years in the amount of $599.95, yet we've only been in business for 6 months. She then transferred me to quality control and told me what to say to them and to tell them I'm the secretary, to expedite the process. I am not the secretary, I am an insurance agent. Nothing was making sense. So, when transferred to quality control I didn't follow her instructions and told the person that I am an agent, not a secretary -- he then disconnected us. Very su****ious!

Yes, they are driving us crazy saying that we need to cancel a contract that we never initiated. To top it off, the calls are from a foreign country and we can't understand half of what they are saying!!!

919-301-0759 must be a scam. They call me unsolicited daily. Last week, twice, I blew a LOUD WHISTLE into the receiver and caller ***g up immediately. It is a landline owned by Bell South in Raleigh, N. Carolina. We need to collectively complain to Bell South and AT&T. Get your printed cell bill, circle the 919-301-0759 incoming call and lodge a written complaint with AT&T (or whomever your call carrier is) and with Bell South. We must stop these harassing calls.

I got the same call today form the 919 number. i got cursed at and was spoken to in a rude manner. they was so unprofessional. they demanded infortmation after i s****ed asking questions. its a scam, they could not answer any of my specific questions either. someone should report them to the better business if we could find them...no call back number, no name of managers, no location, no nothing.... i did ask for thir business license number and was denied that infortmation. its public infortmation i wanted and got ***g up on. the rep on the phone sounded irriated. They asked for this and provided me with this so far name of the company: public yellow pages claim to have a $599 billing. SCAM!!! acc number: 1595***7??? some kind of confermation number or cancelling number rep name claim to be Nancy- Indian Accent QC rep not sure what accent- could be american or slight brittish company name: claim to have a contract for two years and WOW it was todays date to be the end of term. quality control department was not helpfull either and was told to not ask questions, keeping answers to a yes or no and ther couldnt asnwer anyting either and was told to keep my answers short. They also call me back as i were typing this. how rude i tried to call back form another line and not in service..
