it is h&r block. they called and left a merry christmas message and asked for my business this comming tax season

I let it go to VM & it was a recorded "Thank You" call on behalf of H&R Block for trusting them to do my taxes this year.  It also gave my local H&R Block ofc's ph # if I had any questions or wanted to let them know I got this thank you call.  It's legit from my viewpoint....the local # they gave is to the ofc I use.  I work in customer service and we do follow up calls to thank for business, check on customer service & so forth....we just do it personally whereas this is obviously a promotion program that a company paid to do on their behalf because of the different "companies" that are named in the messages.

These idiots called me today as well. Played some garbage song that I couldn't understand. I've never used Jackson-Hewitt!??

This number called my phone twice.  No answer, no message.

Automated message from Jackson-Hewitt Tax Preperation, saying thank you for letting them do my taxes, and how much it means to them that we trusted them with our taxes.  If we find thier automated message unfavoreable, please accept their apology and click on 9 to stop any further automated thank you calls.  All OK I guess, except they've sent the message 4 times in 5 days, and they didn't do my taxes this year.  No persons, no questions, just automated message.

Left a weird automated message that started with caroling. Was hard to understand the male's voice stating he was calling from some tax relief company. To me, this is solicitation and unappreciated even if it turns out to be a tax return company I've used in the past.

I received the call, and the voicemail message said that it was from Jackson-Hewitt ( I filed my taxes with them last year) and they wanted me to wish me a Happy Holiday and call them to file again with them in 2011!

I also just received a call from this number.  I have no idea who the calling party is, nor did anyone on that end say anything.  The connection simply stayed open until I hung up on them.  If anyone finds out anything in reference to any scams involving this number, please post it here so we can all take actions to stop it before they can cause any damages.Thank you
