Threaten to **** my family sent pictures of dead people, but I scared him much worse
I received multiple calls over several months. Finally called back on a line with no caller ID. Call picked up but disconnected. Did this several times until someone answered. I asked what company is this? the answer was “you’ll find out when the sheriff delivers the suppoena” at which point they ***g up.
This person called me on a Sunday claiming to have funds from my (deceased ) ***her's 401K. "Charles" stated he tried calling my mother multiple times. He stated an account with $30K now had over $158K and my mother and POA were not being cooperative. All sounded legit UNTIL he said so****ing about needing to fly to where I live OR he could auto deposit funds to my account. Boy... these scammers are ruthless and heartless to pray on someone my mom's age (81)!
Said they were from the Sheriff’s office to discuss a legal matter and just left a call back number. Couldn’t understand what he said his name was when he left the voicemail. Calling w/ no caller ID was definitely the first red flag. Looked up the said sheriffs in that county and that number isn’t****ociated with any contacts from that office.
