I keep getting calls from this number on my 86 year old Father's home phone. I do not answer simply because I do not know who this is and if they are legitimate why are they not leaving a phone message as to why they are calling. I am really tired of this and want whoever it is to stop because I am not going to answer their calls. This is very distributive to my Father's life and I wish they would stop.

First time calling 5/27/11. Had another number a couple months ago hanging up from a different state. Same thing. answer, click, nothing. If they are trying to sell something how come they just hang up when i answer then ? Not a good marketing program if that's the case. That doesn't make any sense. There must be some other reason.

Im having the same issue. I want to know who or what it is. I had this happen to me a couple of years ago and they were stealing my identity. They spent $15,000 in Thailand by the time i figured it out. I now have lifelock so it will not happen again you guys may need to get some kind of protection.

Caller id said Florida and they must call me at least once a day. When we answer there is never anyone there and if I call the number back it is a busy signal or three rings and then the line goes dead. If we let the answering machine pick up there is never a message or response.

They call several times a week pretending to be magazine publishers. they ask for date of birth, which no LEGITIMATE business entity would ask for. BIG scam - don't ever give them ANY information

Second call from this company in past month. They are a magazine subscription clearing house. However, they can never seem to tell me which magazines I get from them (I get a lot of free ones from the internet). Obviously, I don't get ANY from them or they would be able to tell me that information.

person said her name was lizz. asked for my mother like she was a friend. asked who is calling and the hung up. you can hear all the other operators in the room. boiler room. my mother has been dead over a year!

They claimed to have my name from periodicals I receive but didn't know which ones I get. They offered to send me some free periodicals but then started asking me personal questions "in order to send me the right ones." I said I wasn't interested and asked them to put me on their "do not call" list. They said "Sure" and hung up very quickly.
