Wow. Strangest conversation this week. Got a call from this number wanting to check on my auto insurance. Sounded like a recording. Had a "conversation" with the caller consisting of me asking them whether they were a recording, and them using canned responses to claim that they were not. Everything the "woman" said was a canned response in a highly professional voice. I suspect it was a human sitting at a console hitting canned response ****ons, or else a not-quite-there-yet automated system trying to explicitly claim it was not. Bizarre. Once I began sounding hesitant about continuing, the voice said so****ing like "it sounds like you're not interested at this time, so I'm going to take you off of our list and disconnect". No human I know talks remotely like that.
