Anybody believing this caller is offering a "free security system" is an IDIOT. What these people do is they "offer" something for free, but state that it will be delivered "tomorrow" if you'll pay a small shipping fee. And any IDIOT who gives them a credit card number to pay for this "free" product (and there are many scams doing this) probably deserves to have their identity stolen and their credit card cloned to be sold to the highest bidder on a fraud internet site where other crooks linger. Moral of this story is... if you ever get a call from an area code where you have no family, friends or contacts, just don't answer. About 90% of the time these thieves (calling from VOIP "fake" phone numbers and typically located in Russia, China, Bulgaria, and 3rd world countries) they won't leave a message. Should you actually get a message, it might suggest you have "won" a trip on a cruise ship or $2 million dollars in "the lottery" and when idiots call back, thats when the crook will say "we can send your cruise ship tickets to you if you pay for shipping..." or they will say something else to pirate your personal data. Long story made short, just don't answer the call from a weird area code and then BLOCK that number on your smart phone. And if everybody did this, these crooks would quit doing this.
